Shopify Integration for Existing Little Blue Market Vendors
Migrating from the old Little Blue Market? Read This Before Connecting Your Shopify Store
If you sold on the previous version of Little Blue Market, good news: your existing products have already been migrated for you. They're already set up on the new marketplace and waiting to be connected to your Shopify store. You do not need to re-add them as new listings.
Follow these steps carefully to avoid creating duplicate products.
Step 1 — Connect Your Shopify Store First
Follow the standard Shopify connection steps (see below) to install Vendor Konnect and connect your store. Once connected, your products will appear in the Vendor Konnect tab.
Step 2 — Before You Do Anything Else, Check Manage Products
Before submitting any products from Vendor Konnect, go to Manage Products in your dashboard first. You should already see your existing products listed here, these were migrated for you from the old platform and represent your live storefront.
Take note of what's already there. This is your starting point.
Step 3 — Use "Map Product," NOT "Add to Merchant Store"
This is the most important step. When you go to your Vendor Konnect tab and see your synced Shopify products:
✅ Use "Map Product" for every product that already exists in your Manage Products list. This connects your Shopify inventory to your existing migrated listing — no duplicates, no new products created.
❌ Do NOT use "Add to Merchant Store" for these products. This creates a brand new duplicate listing separate from your migrated one, often with incorrect or $0 pricing.
When SHOULD I use "Add to Merchant Store"?
Only for products that are genuinely new: items you've added to your Shopify store since the migration that have never existed on Little Blue Market before. If a product is brand new and wasn't part of your store before, Add to Merchant Store is the correct choice for that product only.
If You Think You've Added Incorrectly
If you've already used Add to Merchant Store on products that already existed, don't worry. It's an easy fix:
- Go to Manage Products and identify the duplicate listings (often showing incorrect or $0 pricing)
- Delete the duplicate/incorrect listings
- Go back to Vendor Konnect and use Map Product instead for those items
Shopify Sellers Integration Guide for New Vendors
Step 1 — Install the Vendor Konnect app on your Shopify store
Before connecting, install the free Shipturtle Vendor Konnect app on your own Shopify store.
- Log into your Shopify store admin
- Go to the Shopify App Store and search for "Shipturtle Vendor Konnect"
- Click Install and follow the prompts
- Make sure you have admin access to the Shopify store you're connecting because you'll need permission to install apps
Step 2 — Connect your store to Little Blue Market
- Log into your Little Blue Market vendor dashboard
- Click Vendor Inventory Sync in the left navigation
- Click "Shopify Connect"
- Enter your Shopify store's myshopify.com domain (e.g. yourstorename.myshopify.com) and not your custom domain
- Follow the prompts to authorize the connection
- Once complete you'll be redirected back to your dashboard automatically
How do I find my Shopify store domain?
Log into your Shopify admin and go to Settings → Store details. Your domain is your store name with .myshopify.com added. For example yourstorename.myshopify.com. Use this format when connecting, not your custom domain.
Step 3 — Add your products to Little Blue Market
Once connected, your products appear in the Vendor Konnect tab. They are not automatically listed yet — you need to submit them.
To add products one at a time: click the + button next to any product.
To add multiple products at once: check the boxes on the left side of each product, then click the Bulk Actions dropdown and select "Add to Merchant Store."
Submitted products will show Pending status while our team reviews them. Once approved they go live automatically.
Shopify Integration FAQs
How long does it take for my products to appear on Little Blue Market dashboard after connecting my Shopify store?
Once you connect your Shopify store and submit your products, please allow some time for everything to sync and appear on Little Blue Market. Product propagation is not instant and depending on the size of your catalog it can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours for all of your products to fully appear on the marketplace.
What is the difference between "Add to Merchant Store" and "Map Products"?
Use Add to Merchant Store when your products do not yet exist on Little Blue Market. This creates a brand new listing and links it to your Shopify inventory automatically.
Use Map Products when a version of your product already exists on Little Blue Market — for example if we migrated your products from our previous platform. Mapping connects your Shopify product to the existing listing so inventory syncs correctly without creating a duplicate.

Will my Little Blue Market orders show up in my Shopify store?
Yes. Orders placed on Little Blue Market sync back to your Shopify store automatically so you can fulfill them from one place using your existing shipping workflow. You do not need to log into your vendor dashboard separately to fulfill orders. When you mark an order as fulfilled and add tracking in Shopify, that information syncs back to Little Blue Market automatically.
Will my inventory stay in sync automatically?
Yes. Once connected, inventory updates automatically in both directions. When a product sells on Little Blue Market your Shopify inventory decreases, and when you update inventory in Shopify it reflects on Little Blue Market.
If a product shows"Not Managed"next to its quantity, it means inventory tracking is turned off for that product in your Shopify store. Go to that product in your Shopify admin, enableTrack Quantity, and save. It will update on the next sync.
My inventory isn't syncing correctly from Shopify. What's wrong?
If your inventory quantities aren't updating correctly between your Shopify store and Little Blue Market, the most common cause is that Track Quantity is turned off for the affected products in Shopify. Without this setting enabled, there's no quantity for the system to sync so inventory can show incorrectly or not update at all.
To fix this for products already connected:
- Go to your Shopify Admin → Products
- Select the affected products (you can select multiple at once)
- Click Bulk Editor (the small grid icon above your product list)
- Find the Track Quantity / Track inventory column
- Enable it for all selected products
- Save your changes
Once Track Quantity is enabled, inventory will sync correctly on the next update. If quantities still show as 0 after enabling this, follow the resync steps below.
My inventory shows 0 in Manage Products even though I have stock in Shopify. How do I fix this?
This is a common sync hiccup and there's a simple fix. If your inventory quantity shows as 0 in the Products section but you actually have stock in your Shopify store, the product needs a manual resync.
- Go to Vendor Konnect
- Find the affected product in your synced list
- Click the small resync button to the right of the product
- Go back to Manage Products and refresh the page
- Your correct inventory quantity should now appear
If you have several products showing 0, you may need to repeat this for each one individually. It can take a bit of back-and-forth, but each resync should pull in the correct numbers from your Shopify store.
Can I connect more than one Shopify store?
Each vendor account connects to one Shopify store at a time. If you need to connect a different store, disconnect the current one first and repeat the connection steps.
