Winter Gnome Beginner Hand Embroidery Pattern Bundle: DIY Christmas Ornament (PDF Download)

Four cheerful, adorable, beginner hand embroidery gnome patterns for gifting or adorning your own tree! These DIY winter gnome ornaments (or gonk ornaments) were such a delight to create, and a lovely palette cleanser for my brain. A reading gnome, a reindeer gnome, a gnome with a candy cane, and a gnome with a striped knit winter hat and a sprig of holly are all included in this discounted whimsical winter hand-embroidery pattern pack. I took care to use some colors in more than one pattern so you don't need a zillion different DMC embroidery threads.

The fabric I chose for my DIY ornaments is white cotton with white snowflakes, but I think many other options would look charming. These ornaments would be lovely personalized friend gifts on their own or as fancy gift tags on larger presents. Last year, one person added embroidered names underneath each gnome for custom Christmas gifts for one family's children. Mini hoops also look great around the neck of a bottle of wine!

I provide suggested DMC thread colors plus stitch suggestions, but I encourage you to be creative and choose your own! Several nose color suggestions are included, including multiple shades of pinks and browns. This is a bundle of four full patterns for the cost of three.
