About the Artwork

This painting is part of my Travelogue Series, which captures scenes across the United States. Painted using oil pastels, this piece captures a small section of the Tidal Basin in Washington, D.C. The Washington Monument is visible in the background and cherry trees, hanging onto the last of their leaves fill the foreground. This is a small piece, ideal for an office or other small space.
