There are butterflies and bad feelings and discomfort. But sometimes you just have to do the hard thing. And get through the hard thing. This thought provoking quote is perfect for similarly brave / fearless / strong / resisting / protesting / smart / proud / thoughtful people in your life! And yourself, of course. I chose a chocolate brown thread for the quote and surrounded it with a wreath of roses and daisies because we contain multitudes.

I think this is particularly apt for parents, care takers, eldest daughters, new grads, people embarking on new careers, new relationships or marriages, and new paths. It’s putting yourself out there, being vulnerable, trying something new and different. Asking questions, shouldering the burdens. Facing new symptoms or new diagnoses. Making the choice. Being bad at something. Taking a chance.

This PDF pattern is beginner friendly and satisfying to sew. I provide suggested DMC thread colors plus stitch suggestions, but I encourage you to be creative and choose your own!
