"It's odd we were taught to fear witches but not the people who burned them." This thought provoking quote is perfect for similarly snarky / sassy / smart / edgy / feminist / witchy / fed up / proud / thoughtful people in your life! And yourself, of course. I chose a strong darker red thread for the quote and surrounded it with a wreath of leaves colored to evoke fire. The color gradation is easy to achieve with variegated thread. Plus gold sparks and embers because shiny sparkles help. Perfect for Halloween and spooky season, but, really, welcome in my home all year round.

This PDF pattern is beginner friendly and satisfying to sew. I provide suggested DMC thread colors plus stitch suggestions, but I encourage you to be creative and choose your own!

This download includes
