Beginner Hand Embroidery PDF Pattern: "Everybody Matters or Nobody Matters." I first heard this from fictional detective Harry Bosch (created by American author Michael Connelly), and it was his phrase or mantra to live by. It's pithy, smart, and thoughtful. This quote is perfect for similarly aligned / optimistic / kind / empathetic / feminist / no kings / hopeful / resisting / progressive people in your life! And anyone concerned with social justice, equality, equity, and the constitution. In this embroidery design, I paired the sunny yellow serif text with cheerful pink and fuchsia flowers and a shiny, metallic silver ring. I chose a medium blue cotton fabric, but many other colors would work well. This embroidery design would also look great on a denim jacket or kitchen towel, to name a couple of options.

This PDF pattern is beginner friendly and satisfying to sew. I provide suggested DMC thread colors plus stitch suggestions, but I encourage you to be creative and choose your own! Please tag me on Instagram @shortandsweets so I can admire what you create :)
