Aguayo mini-stocking ornaments - purple

Made from aguayo fabric purchased in Bolivia, these adorable stocking ornaments will be a wonderful addition to your Christmas tree.

Aguayo (a-why-yo) textiles are traditional carrying clothes used by the Quechua and Aymara people in Bolivia and neighboring countries. These cloths are used to carry babies, goods for market, on top of their many other uses as bases for bags, purses, jewelry, and decoration. For years I have looked for ornaments that use these textiles and could never find them, so designed my own.

Stocking measures 6 inches tall, 2 1/2 inches wide at the opening. They can be hung using the satin ribbon attached.
