Beginner Hand Embroidery Pattern PDF with this inspirational quote: "If women are naturally submissive, why haven't we submitted yet?" This question resonates with a lot of people I know. It is perfect for you or as a gift for similarly snarky / sassy / feminist / fed up / cheeky / smart / proud / ungovernable / persistent people in your life!

I chose a light thread for the quote and surrounded it with bold, blood red roses and fuchsia flowers because we contain multitudes. Although I stitched my sass on black cotton, you could absolutely use a light colored or white fabric and embroider this inspirational quote in black or another darker colored thread. This hand embroidery pattern was made by me, a real human, with no AI.

This PDF pattern is beginner friendly and satisfying to sew. I provide suggested DMC thread colors plus stitch suggestions, but I encourage you to be creative and choose your own!
