“Self love is never selfish.” This feels more important than ever. It is perfect for busy, overwhelmed people in your life. Or as a reminder to yourself! Maybe a New Year’s resolution? I hope it reminds you to give yourself grace and healing. And very possibly a nap and a snack. It’s good self care advice for mothers and parents, federal workers and civil servants, caretakers, social justice warriors, nurses and doctors, library workers, and so many others. Anger is exhausting and so is change. Remember to fill your cup and heal yourself.

I’ve been waiting for the opportunity to use this beautiful DMC multicolor thread, and this pattern feels perfect. I surrounded the text with cheerful yellow daisies or coneflowers.

This pretty PDF pattern is beginner friendly, meditative, and satisfying to sew. I provide suggested DMC thread colors plus stitch suggestions, but I encourage you to be creative and choose your own!
