Plus high school sweethearts, couples, romantic anniversaries, Valentine’s Day, weddings, etc. Also strongly appropriate for librarians and book sellers. And yourself, of course.

I chose a decisive handwriting font for Ilya’s declaration and surrounded it with plants, vines, and flowers like tulips, daisies, and roses, interspersed with metallic gold and blush pink background stitches. I found it impossible to capture with my camera, but the gold adds a little shimmer and sparkle to this lovely fan wall art. I tried to evoke the nature at The Cottage with the colors – greens and browns with pops of floral colors.

This PDF pattern is beginner friendly (this is a very fun embroidery sampler option!) and satisfying to sew. I provide suggested DMC thread colors plus stitch suggestions, but I encourage you to be creative and choose your own!
